Buxton Museum engaged Tricolor to critique their draft activity plan and business plan supporting their Round 2 application for an extensive landscape heritage project. The Collections in the Landscape project has a number of objectives such as: improving public access to museum collections through development of virtual resources, improving public access to museum collections through the redevelopment of the principle gallery, Wonders of the Peak, enabling schools and researcher to more effectively access and ensgage with heritage, linking collections and knowledge through a network of partnerships and volunteer programmes as well as developing and sharing curatorial skills, ethical practice and digital media skills with staff, visitors, non-visitors and volunteers.
We worked closely with and mentored the Museum team on how to improve the bid for over £850,000 and make it more robust to maximise its likelihood of success. The bid was successful.
