Missy Mills has worked at the intersection of arts, technology and learning at some of the UK’s largest and most prestigious cultural organisations, on both strategy and execution of boundary-pushing projects. She most frequently works with executive and board-level leadership to seek ways to utilise technology to transform and innovate business models in today’s increasingly digital world. With a strong background in strategic product design and innovation, Missy translates technical language, identifies and embeds new digital ways of working and upskills staff to respond and seek new opportunities.

Missy works as a strategy consultant to a number of clients such as HRH the Duchess of Cornwall; conceiving, creating and executive producing The Reading Room – Her Royal Highness’s personal Instagram channel. She created the world’s first opera MOOC Inside Opera; a partnership project between the Royal Opera House, the V&A and King’s College London among other digital consultancies with clients such as Wigmore Hall and the British Council.

Missy focuses her product design on arts and cultural learning; creating a bespoke learning platform for the Royal Opera House – currently visited by 23,000 teachers per month, and a new global product design strategy for Trinity College London.  As well as an interest in learning, Missy seeks to translate mainstream cutting-edge methodologies and technologies such as augmented reality and binaural sound, helping organisations understand the scope of possibility that technology can bring to heritage brands.
