Diversity, Inclusion and Environmental Statement
At Tricolor, diversity and inclusion are at the core of who we are. Whilst striving to create change and connect people to heritage and culture, our diversity and inclusion values stand unwavering in this ever-evolving—and increasingly diverse—world. We’ve set bold goals and protocols to allow for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, that will reflect who we are. This is initiated in the very beginning of Tricolor’s hiring stages, from actively seeking consultants to join our rosters in the ways mentioned above, to encouraging and guiding our clients to embed this change into their own practices, which we, in turn, hope will create a knock-on impact to wider society. Our flexible approach to work is particularly respectful of people with disabilities and accessible to Trauma-informed consultants. We can even go as far as to say that we actively centre diverse people within the organisation’s environment and working practices.
Creating change in line with current global environmental actions is very important to us at Tricolor. Not only do our freelancers work from home, reducing our carbon footprint, we have digital systems in place to ensure that we use energy and resources more efficiently. In our project approach, we consider and recommend ‘near sourcing’ which reduces energy and emission waste, and we take steps to reduce, reuse, recycle. It is a protocol within Tricolor that face-to-face client meetings are kept to a very minimum (if any at all), and we recommend our clients follow suit. That said, we are always striving to refine our environmental strategies, within Tricolor and the projects we work on.
