Tricolor was appointed in June 2015 to undertake the Estate-wide Interpretation Strategy for the entire Royal Pavilion Estate, as well as the Interpretation Plan and designs to RIBA 3 and the Consultation and Activity Plan for Phase 1 of the Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival £4.9 million HLF bid.

Kenley is the most complete surviving Battle of Britain fighter airfield. The remaining assets on the airfield: the rifle range, fighter blast pens, complete perimeter track and fuel dump together create a unique opportunity to engage people with a crucial moment in British history and a pivotal battle of the Second World War. The airfield is still being used for glider flying, providing a direct and tangible link to its WW2 fighter airfield history.

Working with Sunderland City Council and English Heritage, Tricolor was responsible for creating the Vision Statement for this medieval castle, set within a wooded Dene, which is being redeveloped into the first youth-led heritage and skill-building attraction in the UK.

Tricolor was tasked with creating inclusive activities for the Palace, Victorian Theatre and Park to improve the use of the palace and grounds for more people and a wider range of audiences as part of the Activity Plan for the £28 million Reclaiming the People’s Palace project.
